At some point during the trip, you will probably meet one or two people with whom you form a special bond. It is great to have something with you that you can give to say thank you or offer as a token to remember you by. Gifts don’t have to be fancy.

Things we brought included a specially made Rotary GSE Pins with the centennial year marked on the back & key chains made up of beads. It is always nice to offer thanks in form of a small present if someone gives you a taxi or do little favor by offering you tea or snacks.

After the trip, we all followed up with presents and pictures air mailed to other people who had touched us during our GSE experience.
